While taking photography as a passionate hobby, I have recaptured my passion for photography with the beauty of countries I have visited. It is my goal as an artist and a photographer, to encourage the close examination of ordinary things by presenting them in unusual context. While my photographic subjects vary widely, I find myself repeatedly drawn to landscapes, architecture and objects as well as the influence of man.

About the artist
Fong Peng Chuan aka Foley Hits seeks to document his own personal experiences, capture scenes and events as he sees them and share with others the beauty and diversity of the world he's seen. The George Town, Penang-born multiple award-winning photographer first became fascinated with photography in his schooling days where he purchased his first 35mm camera in 1973. Since then, he has refined his work which focused mainly on landscapes, architecture and objects, as well as the influence of man. He believes that a fine photograph is not only the creation of the original but also the result of significant technical and aesthetic consideration while making the final print. Photography is the medium of choice for his creative expression. To this day, he is still excited about the power and magic of photography and its ability to allow him to capture his own unique selective perception of the moment in a form that he can share with others.
